ABOUT ASHLI CHOI

Hi all! I am currently an Associate UX Designer in search of full-time job opportunities. My design skills are best supported by my experience working as a Unit Coordinator at Seattle Children\'s Hospital. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Food Systems, Nutrition, and Health at UW and have been working in healthcare settings since 2021. My background in healthcare has allowed me to develop skills in critical thinking, mindful problem solving, and human/patient-centered approach. I am currently working as an Associate UX Designer at Children’s, improving patient and family experience. My current project is centered around improving the online menu/ food ordering process, by making iterations to the current SCH app and increasing accessibility to non-English nutrition resources. I find that I am most in my element when getting to know the user, and when learning how their emotions and experiences impact how they take on the world. I’ve found my stride in tackling challenges with a multidisciplinary approach, and find fascination in piecing together why a user may think the way that they do. Let\'s connect! I would love to learn more about your experiences, and gain insight on how I can grow as a UX Designer.
