About Ashley Lin
Hi, I’m Ashley. I serve as the Strategic Coordinator at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Before OSTP, I produced technical AI policy analysis at RAND. I have also researched emerging technologies and U.S-China strategic competition at the Center for Security and Emerging Technology, the Special Competitive Studies Project, and the Department of War, U.S. Southern Command. Before moving to DC, I co-founded a STEM talent search program that raised over $16M to empower exceptional students who want to understand and change the world. We designed alternative education pathways and organized in-person programs on science, philosophy, and the future. Before that, I developed CTE and work-based learning programs, designed a new mastery-based graduation pathway in Washington state, and taught entrepreneurship classes to high school students in Portland, OR.
