ABOUT ASHLEY CRAWFORD

Ashley has over 29 years experience within the banking technology sector and has experience of working across multiple levels within banks globally having worked in the UK, US, EMEA and APAC regions with roles focussed on strategic account management, leadership/team management and stakeholder engagement. Ashley is currently responsible for risk solutions within the UK/I Banking team at SAS. Key areas of focus include asset and liability management, model risk management, credit decisioning and AI Governance, climate risk, stress testing and IFRS9.Ashley was previously responsible for the overall relationship with Lloyds Banking Group for Experian UK & I. As a key leader within the Banking team at Experian, Ashley managed a virtual and direct team across the UK & I market to deliver against an agreed strategy.Ashley also led the European Key Accounts team as well as swiftly building a US based Key Account team within the Asset Management business of SunGard and prior to that led the strategic direction and management of SunGard’s Australia and New Zealand business. Prior to that Ashley held the position of Strategic Accounts Director, managing SunGard’s relationship with Tier 1 banks in Australia and New Zealand and overseeing the Australian sales team. Ashley has also worked at Experian Asia Pacific where he was responsible for the Account Director team, managing relationships with banking sector clients across key areas of risk, fraud, IT and collections.
