   Working smarter not harder is a key component of going #BigAndFast. Thoughtful statistical modeling, causal inference, and predictive algorithms (i.e. data science) help get us there. But it\'s hard to do data science without good data, and that\'s where I come in. I\'m building out HubSpot\'s analytics engineering architecture for revenue data science, ensuring that we can seamlessly manage pre-aggregation at all levels of granularity, cohesively meld disparate data from all across the org, and do so in a robust and scalable way.(If you\'re a dbt user and that sounds like fodder for macros and templates-yes! exactly!) I\'m also a leader in our HubSpot data community. I develop and socialize good practices and new processes, train and mentor both new and tenured analysts, and dream big about everything that data at HubSpot can be. 🤩 For an incredibly apt overview of the kind of work I do as an analytics engineer at HubSpot, check out the attached blog from dbt Labs,\"We the purple people\". At the end of the day, it\'s all about using computers to do the computery things, so that humans are free to do the human things, like crafting the empathetic, remarkable experience that HubSpot\'s customers have come to love:)
