ABOUT ASHLEY NELSON
Whilst studying Chemical Engineering at University, I quickly realised that I excel when working within teams focused on solving complex analytical challenges. Following graduation, I decided to pivot to a career in sales. Starting at a small local firm, I quickly advanced into a sales player/manager role before moving into the tech start-up world. Here, as one of the start ups first sales people, I helped the business grow into new markets and secure new business contracts which ultimately resulted in Series B funding. Looking for the next step, I secured a role at Moody’s Analytics where, after consecutively exceeding sales targets, I was quickly fast tracked into leadership and given the mandate to build a new business team for EMEA to launch our contributory credit data based out of the Moody’s Manchester office. Moody’s Pulse database is a part of Moody’s Analytics, a fortune 500 company with revenues exceeding $7BN a year. Pulse is one of the worlds largest B2B contributory trade credit networks and our platform leverages AI technologies to alert credit teams to critical changes to their customers. The model ensures all contributors data remains secure and is completely anonymous. Moody\'s expertise in predictive modelling allows our partners to benefit from enhanced insights into their customers credit risk and cashflow analytics.
