ABOUT ASHLEY FROST

I am a results-driven U.S. Public Health Service Officer with deep experience at the intersection of healthcare operations, information technology, and service to rural and Tribal communities. My career has focused on building resilient systems that support patient care, workforce development, and data-informed decision-making in complex and resource-limited environments.As a Laboratory Director in rural Alaska, I led the expansion and oversight of one temporary and one permanent moderately complex laboratory, along with six remote waived village laboratories serving geographically isolated communities. This work required close collaboration with local stakeholders, Tribal health leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure access to high-quality services while navigating logistical, regulatory, and environmental challenges unique to remote settings.Previously, I served as a Clinical Applications Coordinator and EHR Specialist supporting both medical and dental environments. In these roles, I partnered with clinicians, IT teams, and administrators to implement and optimize electronic health record systems, streamline workflows, and improve data quality. These experiences strengthened my ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions that support frontline staff and organizational goals.My background spans clinical operations, project and program management, quality and compliance, emergency operations planning, and health informatics. I bring a systems-level perspective to leadership, with experience managing complex programs, supervising diverse teams, and aligning technology with mission-driven outcomes.I hold a Master of Health Administration from The George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health and am seeking senior-level opportunities in program management, information technology, or informatics-focused leadership. I am particularly motivated by work that advances equity, strengthens rural and Tribal health systems, and leverages data and technology to improve population health and organizational resilience.
