About Ashley Baker
Grounded in social science and public policy, I leverage 15+ years of experience in government and industry to drive sustainability strategy. At Wells Fargo, I lead initiatives that turn research and insights into action in sustainable finance. I partner across businesses to produce guidance, thought leadership, and tools that unlock opportunities for clients. As a trusted advisor on public policy, human rights, and environmental and social impact, I aslo help guide strategy and decision-making across the enterprise. Previously, I oversaw strategy and execution for key ESG disclosures. Before Wells Fargo, I led social impact and ESG due diligence for a global investment portfolio at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), supporting risk management and client engagement across investment funds, infrastructure, and energy projects. I also served as a Policy Advisor in the office of Congresswoman Deb Haaland, covering defense, labor, and foreign affairs. Outside of work, I serve on the Board of the Black Swan Academy and support people and organizations building community resilience and opportunity.
