ABOUT ASHLEY SAUNDERS

I love to solve problems! Working in the restaurant industry prepared me to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments. It built my customer-centric attitude from the ground up. The Effective Personal Productivity Course I took through Leadership Management International, Inc. has empowered me to both be a leader and a follower. I\'m used to wearing a lot of different hats. I thrive working on creative teams, in fast-paced environments, and I never back down from a business challenge. I believe in a customer-centric strategy and that you should always help people when you can. I\'m overseeing more than 70 shows across multiple social platforms on the most amazing team at MPE! Prior to my current role, I was running point on all things social media and running the Voice of the Customer Program for Hisense Canada and working hard to support the marketing team on anything and everything marketing-related that comes up. Until 2021, I was freelancing for Jumping Elephant, a small digital and social media agency based out of Calgary, Alberta doing mainly digital strategy, social media audits, and content writing for small to medium-sized clients. The industries and clients I\'ve worked with include education, spiritual arts, telecommunications, mobile app/game, storage & warehousing, cleaning services, real estate, B2B Publications, event design & planning, travel & tourism, health & wellness, psychedelics, music festivals, lifestyle & Entertainment. Through that, we have also launched an exciting company - Elephant\'s Remark, which provides \'day of\' social media content marketing and engagement in the busy events industry. I\'m proud to be lead matriarch, strategist, and live social coordinator in Toronto. In the last few years, I launched my own business, Hashtag This, where I offer social media services, content strategy, website content writing, social media photography, website UX consultation, and intro + training to social for individuals who have never formally used them for business or personal use. My clients are mostly mom and pop shops to small-med biz and a lot of the consultation and training I do is for folks over 50 who didn\'t grow up in the social media generation. Clients range from trucking & logistics firms to restaurants, to the custom jewelry business, and real estate. From 20••••23, I was social media lead for SING! The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival - an arts, not for profit. Send me a message if you want to peruse my portfolio or if you just want to chat Content Marketing, Social Community, Social or Digital Strategy!
