ABOUT ASHLEY PETERSON
Ashley started her career at Deloitte in the Assurance and Audit group working with public and private companies specifically construction, public private partnerships and real estate. She then transferred to the Advisory group where she worked directly with clients to improve processes, internal controls, review organizational structure, technology solutions, deliver CXO transition work shops, and advise on complex transactions. In 2018 Ashley transferred to the National Securities Services Group, working remotely from Vancouver. She specifically focused on securities filings ensuring quality and compliance with applicable prospectus filing requirements under the Securities Act and Exchange Act. Ashley has a practical working knowledge of IFRS 15, IAS 11, IFRIC 12 and IAS 17 in the construction, infrastructure, public and private partnerships, and mining industries gained through her years of experience on assurance engagements, giving her the ability to evaluate and solve clients complex accounting issues. Ashley provided insight, audit services and strategic guidance for company growth in all industries. Ashley worked closely with clients to identify improvements and deficiencies through interviews, and lab facilitation.Currently Ashley sits on the board of directors as treasurer and finance committee chair for White Rock Christian Academy. Since taking a step back from her career in 2021 to raise three young children she now focuses on volunteer work in her local community.
