ABOUT ASHLEY DUTY

Dr. Ashley Duty earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Raabe College of Pharmacy at Ohio Northern University and a Master of Science in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from Northeast Ohio Medical University. She completed a PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration residency at the Cleveland Clinic. Ashley is currently the Director of Pharmacy Operations at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to this role, she served as a Pharmacy Manager at Children’s Mercy Kansas City. In 2019, she became a Board Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist. Professionally, Ashley is actively engaged with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), where she currently serves on the Council on Pharmacy Practice. Her longstanding involvement includes leadership roles as Chair and Vice Chair of the New Practitioners Forum, for which she received the ASHP Distinguished Service Award in 2019. Ashley was honored as an ASHP Fellow in 2023, recognizing her sustained contributions to the profession. In addition to her national involvement, Ashley serves as Website Editor for the Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacy and represents Ohio as an ASHP Delegate. Her previous leadership experience includes serving in both local and state roles with the Greater Kansas City Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Missouri Society of Health-System Pharmacy. In 2021, she was named \"Pharmacist of the Year\" by the Missouri Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Ashley’s interests include sterile compounding operations, medication safety, and policy work. She is also very passionate about leadership development. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and cheering on Cleveland and Columbus sports teams.
