ABOUT ASHLEY M. RAMIREZ

Finance student at UNLV building real experience across venture investing and financial operations.At Rebel Venture Fund, I serve as Director of Portfolio Management, where I monitor portfolio companies, analyze performance, and present updates to the fund and board of advisors. I stay involved in the full deal process too, conducting due diligence, evaluating startups, and participating in investment decisions.On the operations side, I manage the day to day financials for a growing concrete company. That means accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, payroll, job cost reports, and contributing to company level P&L tracking. It has given me a grounded perspective on how financial decisions actually play out in a business.I also co-founded RebelBot, an AI college companion, where I lead financial modeling, cost structure analysis, and the overall business case. Outside of that, I serve as VP of Professional Development for AMA and VP of the International Business Association, where I focus on operations and connecting students with industry.I am drawn to corporate finance and venture capital because I like analyzing businesses and understanding how capital gets deployed. I am building toward roles where I can do both.
