As legal counsel for Breville, my work includes: • Draft, negotiate, and enforce wide range of commercial, intellectual property, and technology contracts for consumer kitchen appliance companies’ products and related technologies. • Advise consumer product teams on legal compliance throughout products’ lifespans. • Oversee all day-to-day legal matters for global trademark portfolio active trademarks). • Develop, supervise, and enforce EUK selective distribution program. • Provide strategic guidance on competition and intellectual property matters. • Review marketing, promotional, and advertising communications and physical materials (e.g. product packaging) for compliance with intellectual property and advertising laws. • Onboard and integrate corporate acquisitions. • Advise, train, and educate internal business and legal teams on laws, regulations, and compliance matters. • Provide dispute resolution and litigation assistance related to all of the foregoing.
