Supports the Public Relations and Corporate Communications Director with core communications functions including media monitoring, outreach and coordinating activities that support earned media. This includes emails, phone calls, scheduling interviews, meetings, recordkeeping and ensuring documentation is saved to the server- Coordinates various public relations support materials including asset creation requests, gathering assets and materials for media requests and events, working as liaison with PR agency, creative, marketing, and other internal contacts to execute- Owns the quarterly Core Value Awards celebrations, including overall organization and detail, budget adherence, finalizing award scripts and traveling to all locations for award celebrations- Develops, writes, and disseminates press releases, media alerts, media pitches/angles, talking points, and briefing books for interviews/meetings/press appearances- Facilitates order placement for media appearances, product samples and prize fulfillment for various media opportunities- Researches and builds targeted media lists and maintains database of media contacts- Assists with media room maintenance including posting of press releases, media coverage, updating media kits, maintaining contact lists and calendar of media pitches/coverage- Coordinates with social media team on media and community opportunities as appropriate- Supports the execution of internal communications to inform team members about the Company, policies and programs, special projects, and our industry. Supports the dissemination of emails and biweekly intranet newsletter. Serves as liaison with creative team, IT and other internal contacts.
