ABOUT ASHLEY KUO
I am a current third-year Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences student at the University of British Columbia with a strong interest in pharmaceutical development, biotechnology, and the science behind modern therapeutics.Through my academic training, I have developed hands-on laboratory experience with techniques including agarose gel electrophoresis, ELISA immunosorbent assays, and 96-well plating. As a directed studies student, I have also developed some experience analyzing experimental data and applying scientific literature to research questions. My coursework has provided a strong foundation in drug discovery, pharmaceutical development, and biotechnology research.I am particularly interested in opportunities that bridge scientific research with real-world healthcare impact, including roles in pharmaceutical development, regulatory affairs, medical science liaison work, and biotechnology research.I am currently seeking a full-time industry practicum placement for the incoming school year (20••••27) where I can contribute my scientific training, analytical thinking, and collaborative mindset in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
