ABOUT ASHLEY GRANT
Freshman nursing student at The University of Alabama, dedicated to delivering affordable healthcare to underserved communities. I have a strong passion for helping and advocating for others, particularly those who are unable to access proper healthcare due to financial difficulties. This motivated me to choose nursing as my major. I have gained hands-on experience by shadowing nurses at local hospitals and working with a pediatric nurse practitioner. My long-term aim is to become a family and psychiatric nurse practitioner with my own practice, providing affordable healthcare to families and individuals in underserved areas. I look forward to pursuing internships, studying abroad in countries with struggling healthcare systems, and integrating these experiences into my future practice. Additionally, I would like to pursue a degree in law to advocate for patients who experience medical malpractice.
