About Ashley G.
I am a Product Manager by trade and nerd by choice, passionate about the intersections of linguistics, tech/product, and social impact in both the for-profit and non-profit spheres. I\'m fascinated by the intricacies of language and driven by my desire to advocate for the communities that have empowered me to attain my goals. As someone who felt like a total newcomer to tech upon starting her university career, I\'ve made it my mission to make the tech world more accessible to marginalized communities and more beneficial to those communities in turn. I quickly discovered the product world as one that sits in the perfect intersection of my passions and my strengths (team leadership, a clear product vision, and above all, compassion). I\'m currently open to gaining new experiences with roles in Product Management and/or Language Technology/Language Science, especially in organizations that have a primary mission of positive social impact.Talk to me about: language (a specific one or language in general, and especially music in different languages!), solo traveling, finding the coolest spots in LA, meditation and mindfulness, community organizing and social impact work, and the LA Lakers and FC Barcelona.
Experience
Product Manager Ii - Franchise & Wholesale
Mar 2025 — Present
I own end-to-end digital platform and feature development for Franchise & Wholesale operations that are business-critical, seasonal, and margin-sensitive. I develop product vision and partner with senior leadership to define and prioritize annual and quarterly product roadmaps. Collaborating closely with Engineering, Architecture, International Business Leads, Supply Chain, and Finance, I translate business context into robustly defined requirements, decompose architecture solutions into PRDs, epics, and executable stories with detailed acceptance criteria, lead feature testing, UAT, and user trainings, and ultimately deliver value by building high-quality software that powers iconic brands.
