ABOUT ASHLEY DUNFIELD
I am an endlessly curious entrepreneur with a bias for action and an appreciation for (eventual) simplicity.I\'ve had an obsession with the structures and systems that enable communication efficiency since around 2007. That focus has driven me to develop a methodology of how to create a networked representation of the world. I believe this will be the third major technology platform.The first major platform was the web, where information was digitized and subjected to the power of computer processing and algorithms.The second major platform was social media where people and the relationships between them were subjected to computer processing and algorithms.The third major platform will digitize all people, places and things and the relationships between them. This next platform will radically transform what is possible today and enable a new era of societal efficiency.There are many challenges in creating a unified 1:1 model of the world. The vision I have now took many years of trial and error but I\'m confident it can be done and done in a way that improves privacy and individual control. It can be done collectively yet enables greater individuality.At times enabling a new era of possibilities seems like an unclimbable mountain. This always brings me back to one of my favourite quotes:\"There is no such thing as a problem without a gift in its hands. We seek these problems because we need their gifts.\"
