About Ashley Rusu

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic Research Assistant in the cellular immunology-based laboratory of Dr. Pramod Nehete at MD Anderson Cancer Center\'s Michale E. Keeling Center for Comparative Medicine. We conduct and assist on projects for the advancement of health studies and vaccine development using preclinical models. Specifically, previous projects have focused on understanding and developing treatments for HIV, Alzheimer\'s Disease, Lynch syndrome, and more. My experience as a research assistant include assisting in short- and long-term studies with cell-based assays, immunoassays, and tissue cell culture techniques.My Research interests include: Immunology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, and Developmental Biology.Outside of my time in the lab I utilize my skills, knowledge, and teaching heart to help local students in my area. I founded Success Haven Tutoring in 2023 to provide private and group tutoring services to students in the greater Austin, TX area and beyond. We specialize in math and science; however, we help students in 1st grade-college in a variety of subjects.

   Founded Success Haven Tutoring with the goal of producing affordable and high-quality tutoring to students of all ages and abilities.• Providing in-person and online tutoring for students in 2nd grade through college level specializing in math and science subjects.• Aiding students that struggle with learning challenges such as ADHD, Dyslexia, and Dyscalculia.• Highly sought out tutor for expertise, passion, and ability to connect to students.• Within 6 months of tutoring, Success Haven Tutoring became a member of the National Tutoring Association• Offering in-person, online, and group sessions to the Waco, TX area and beyond, with students all over Texas and reaching as far as New Jersey.
