About Ashley Cobb
I thrive on endurance both in running and finance. As a long-distance runner, I’ve learned that success is about discipline, resilience, and pushing past the moments when quitting seems easier. These same principles fuel my approach to finance as well. I am currently pursuing the 3/2 MBA program at the Kelley School of Business, majoring in Finance and Accounting. The challenging coursework continuously pushes me out of my comfort zone, reinforcing my ability to think critically and adapt. I have a strong interest in financial analysis and enjoy working with numbers, which is why I am drawn to the problem-solving aspects of finance. I approach every challenge with the same mindset I bring to running: stay focused, put in the work, and go the extra mile. Beyond academics, I had the opportunity to serve in a management role for nearly four years, where I developed a passion for mentoring others. Whether leading a team, or planning large-scale initiatives, I find fulfillment in guiding others and solving complex problems. Additionally, I had the ability to continue this mentorship through peer tutoring in college. Where I helped other students understand the basics of Excel. This experience further reinforced my passion for teaching and supporting others’ growth. My travel to the Netherlands also helped me develop a more open mind, embracing new perspectives and cultures that continue to shape my approach to both personal and professional challenges.
