As a third-year college student at North Carolina State University, I\'m on the journey to expand my horizons, gain growth opportunities, and make my mark in the world of Marketing. I can\'t wait to share my journey with you.Recently, I accepted the opportunity to work as a seasonal compliance intern at Fairview Investment Services. I am so grateful for this opportunity and have had the privilege of working with some other incredible companies throughout high school and college that have shaped my understanding of business and people. At Red Rocks Cafe, I learned how to deliver an exceptional experience, one that required communication, adaptability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced restaurant environment. My time at CycleBar Lake Norman taught me how to drive sales which fostered a sense of commitment to the company.Another memorable experience was my time with Cutco, where I saw firsthand what a sales job entailed. My time at the Lowes YMCA taught me how important community engagement was, as I had the privilege of making a positive impact on diverse groups of individuals. Last but not least, I can’t forget about my entrepreneurial adventure at The Farms Homestead, where I taught private and group swimming lessons.One of my proudest achievements has been serving as the Director of Social Media and Marketing for my sorority, Kappa Delta. In this role, I had the chance to express my creativity using digital platforms to positively market the organization. This journey has developed my collaboration skills and ability to adapt to the quickly changing digital world.Beyond academics, I was an active member of the National Honor Society in high school, where I learned the impact of collective efforts. My time volunteering through this club has allowed me to foster positive change in my community and see the difference that can be made when working with others.Currently, I\'m pursuing a major in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. The intersection of these two fields is fascinating to me as I want to understand consumer behavior on a deeper level. Looking ahead, I am hoping to gain meaningful work experience to better understand the world of Marketing.
