ABOUT ASHLEY WEST
I am a determined second-year International Relations student interested in social justice and women’s rights. I am hoping to learn more about the legal world and connect with others interested in this field. I have a passion for the law, especially international law, as I immerse myself in diplomatic politics. I am an executive board member of the Students of Caribbean Ancestry association at BU and a proud member of BU’s Women in Law association. I have completed courses which have familiarised me with contract, tort and criminal law. I have also completed courses in relation to international relations. My current position at BU’s philanthropy center allows me to practice my communication skills and customer service engagement. I am also the proud owner of a small on-campus nail business which fosters my entrepreneurial spirit and creativity. My current ambassadorship with Joyba Bubble Tea provides me with a strong social media presence as it teaches me media literacy, marketing strategies and creative technology advancement. In my free time, I enjoy writing, practicing my nail technique, crosswords and sudoku.
