   Let\'s be real for a minute (actually for a lot longer than that). Technology Advisors/Telecom Agents need a place to go to get REAL advice and recommendations from people that don\'t have any skin in the game.(tells us how you really feel, Ashley) ok, I will. Do you know about \"Volume Bonuses\"? That\'s an amount that a provider pays to a \"TSB\",\"TSD\", or \"Master agency\" if their sub-agents hit certain targets. For example, Vonage could pay the if their subs sell that month. So who do you think they are going to try to get you to sell? It\'s not necessarily which provider is best for your customer or which provider has the most hands-on project management, fastest time to install, or most satisfied customers. I\'m not here to say I don\'t trust \"TSB\"s but hey, that\'s how the system is set-up. It\'s too much \"pay-to-play\" for me to blindly trust it. We are presenting a much needed alternative for thought leadership, advice, collaboration, and learning. We are NOT replacing the TSB and we are not a TSB ourselves or tied to any piece of your income. We do NOT allow vendors in the community so there is no one here who wants to invite you to a demo or spam you their promos and spiffs. The Technology Advisor Alliance is a place for technology consultants/telecom agents to collaborate, share best practices, celebrate wins, help each other, and solve problems. Aside from getting better for the sake of our own businesses and for the benefit of our customers, there are a whole slew of issues in the channel that affect ALL of us. This is a safe place to talk about those issues (ahem, M&A cough, cough private equity, cough) and much more. Join us to share your knowledge and connect with your peers. The success of the channel depends on the success of the customer-facing technology advisors.
