As the Managing Director I oversee the administrative and operational success of the Junior League of Cincinnati, an organization comprised of nearly 800 engaged members. Through my role I serve on the Core Leadership Team that informs and directs the strategic plans of the organization as well as operationally keeps the organization running smoothly.As the MD I run all aspects of our building maintenance and rental program with the support of a part time staff member. I am responsible for guiding and implementing our marketing plans to assist with growing our rental revenue.I am responsible for shaping our development and fundraising plans, including submission of grants. I assist with our major fundraisers and Annual Fund campaign. I manage our day to day accounting via QuickBooks as well as budgets and ensure that we are financially healthy and operating with strong fiduciary practices in place. I also help to inform and clarify our RFP process as a grant-making organization and work with our community program to make sure all aspects of the grant are being followed and reported appropriately.As the MD I support the operational systems and processes-including management reporting, information flow, business processes and procedures and organizational planning. This can include managing large scale events. I am often called on to facilitate leadership training as well as provide training on other topics of expertise, including fundraising, value setting and DEI & B work.Much of my work includes project management as I work with our large number of councils and committees, assisting to ensure that we are on track to reach and exceed our targeted goals.I oversee our membership and donor database system and reporting, including programmatic dashboards, fundraising benchmarks and other key data indicators.Through my role I keep a large scale non-profit operating at full capacity while also building opportunities for the future.
