About Ashley Rossi

I\'m a Senior Product (UX/UI) Designer based in Northern Michigan focused on providing design strategy and solutions for new and existing web and mobile applications.I\'ve been a Designer in some aspect for over 20 years, having started my career in as a graphic / web designer and front-end developer hybrid. I worked the hybrid role for 12 years in total in both agency and in-house settings, and officially drew a line in the sand when I accepted a Senior UX Designer at Hagerty Insurance.Where my energy and focus had previously been spent on breadth of projects, my time at Hagerty taught me about depth. Every new product that I designed or existing product I improved had a common goal: Drive users to - and through - the quote flow. My most valuable takeaway from my 5 1/2 years at Hagerty was learning and experiencing how user research and testing can inform small, iterative changes that bring about real, measurable impact.When I jumped into full time freelance mid-2017, Hagerty was my first official contract and I’ve worked extensively with many former colleagues. I also found success on Upwork as freelancer, where I’ve earned and maintained a 100% job success rate and 5 star rating with many long-term clients. My blended creative and technical experiences provide me a holistic view of projects due to a working knowledge of many of the required tasks and processes in between, while serving as a helpful frame of reference for collaboration and compromise within project teams.
