Leads modernization initiatives: Accomplishments to date include the updating the entity website, implementation of several communication pathways including text message and subscriber list, creation of Instagram and LinkedIn accounts, and creation of instructional videos and texts. Works with the Legislature, the Governor’s office, and interest groups to pass important legislation and policy changes. Achievements include passage of 120 hours to sit for the CPA exam, firm mobility, and the modernization of the CPE requirements.Educates the public through presentations to professional organizations and universities regarding multiple topics including ethics, the Board\'s functions, and the CPA exam.Implements efficiency measures: These include reduction in administrative positions inside the agency, leading to reductions in CPE and Enforcement backlogs and creation of a monthly statistical report to measure KPIs.Serve on our national association’s communications committee and Uniform Accountancy Act committee, serving at a critical time of a changing accountancy regulation landscape.
