About Ashley Piccone
I write about and connect reporters to the physical and life sciences research done at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. That includes our fascinating and ground-breaking work in physics, astronomy, biology, chemistry, energy, materials science and atmospheric science. My love of science communication blossomed as a graduate student researcher in astronomy. Since then, I\'ve crafted stories for LLNL\'s news site and SpotLight magazine, NPR member stations, the American Institute of Physics, Mines Magazine and the Astrobites blog.
