ABOUT ASHLEY PELZEL
I am passionate about translating multi-year strategies into operations- something I\'ve been doing for the past 9 years at Bridgewater Associates, the world\'s largest hedge fund. At Bridgewater, I oversee the operations of all the technology functions, including investment technology, infrastructure technology, and corporate technology. In my Technology role, I have built operational teams focused on strategic finance, cloud cost management, sourcing/procurement, and risk management that scale and flex with the changing needs of the organization. I also partner with senior leaders across the firm to drive company-wide operational excellence. Additionally, I am a First Mover Fellow at the Aspen Institute, where I learn from and collaborate with other corporate social intrapreneurs who are creating positive change within their companies and industries. I am also a proud board member and vice chairman of the board at Experience Camps, a non-profit organization that supports grieving children in the US.
