About Ashley Pan
I grew up in a suburb outside of Dallas, and it is true, everything is bigger in Texas. Especially family. And the funnel cakes! Texas will always have a piece of my heart. This fall, I will be working at PwC\'s San Francisco office as an Audit Associate. Last summer, I was an Assurance Intern at BPM in San Francisco, California, where I got to put what I\'ve learned in UC Berkeley classrooms to the test. My key takeaway is that audit, just like everything else in business, is all about the stakeholders. I believe technology allows accountants and auditors to spend less time on manual data entry and more time on data analysis. I am content with the accomplishments, relationships, stories, and experiences I already have in my life, but I am excited to dive deeper into my industry (accounting), profession (accounting professor), and network (mentors, colleagues, peers, professors). I am a social chameleon. I am very passionate about PanCha, my family\'s boba business. I care about the future generation. Most of all, I am a woman of power and empowerment.
