MHA & BSN prepared RN graduated with Honors Summa Cum Laude, Cum Laude and membership in the Alpha Chi Honor Society as well as Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Nursing Management experience as PACT Nurse Manager/Clinic Manager as well as Assistant Nurse Manager of an Inpatient Med/Surg/Telemetry/Float pool and COVID surge beds for the Department of Veterans Affairs- VHA- VA Maine. Experience in supervising as many as 100 nursing staff. Direct care RN experience in Rural Tele-Diabetes, Emergency Department, Neurology, Rheumatology, and Infectious Disease. 10 years of LPN experience in: Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, Outpatient Surgery, Bariatrics, Breast Clinic, Wound Clinic, Pulmonology, Oncology, Acupuncture, Dermatology, ENT, Endocrinology, Allergy, Endoscopy, Community Health, Case Management, Vaccination Clinics, Corrections, and Orthopedics. Experienced in case management, chart audits, physical work-space preparedness for JCAHO. Involved in process-improvement, creation of Standard Operating Procedures, Chairperson of Specialty Clinics Employee Morale Committee, headed creation of a new clinic offerings of Acupressure for the Phoenix VA Healthcare System. Active member of Fall Prevention Committee, Staffing Methodology Expert Panel, Steering Committee for Pathway to Excellence, and the Steering Committee for Whole Health at VA Maine. My career goals entail obtaining a strong foundation in leadership and currently enrolled to obtain a graduate degree in Healthcare Administration. Strong objective to obtain a position within a VA healthcare facility in which I can work to provide enthusiastic Evidence-Based servant leadership and work to improve processes by use of lean six sigma and other effective tools, to assist in maintaining and optimizing delivery of the organization\'s Mission, Vision, and Values.
