I am passionate about advocacy and changemaking, driven by a commitment to empower communities and give strength to the voices too often unheard. As the youngest member of the New Brunswick Board of Education, I focus on championing student engagement and equitable access to quality education, preparing students to thrive as lifelong learners and leaders. My commitment to service is rooted in a powerful family legacy—my grandfather marched alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This instilled in me a deep dedication to justice, community, and courageous leadership. I carry this legacy forward by working to close opportunity gaps, building trauma-informed and mindfulness-based programs for underprivileged youth, and ensuring that all students have the tools and support to succeed. Through my experience in local government, nonprofit development, and community advocacy, I strive to create spaces where people of all ages are not only heard but empowered to shape their futures.
