ABOUT ASHLEY L. TAYLOR

Currently I work as an Assistant Project Manager with WeaverCooke Construction. I have been in the Construction Industry since 2008 and have spent most of my construction career in the Accounting world as a Project Accountant and Credit Analyst. Since joining the construction industry, I have found my passion in the NAWIC organization.(NAWIC - National Association of Women in Construction) Currently I serve as Immediate Past President of the Charlotte NC. I served as Chapter President for a two-year term from 20••••24. In the years Leading up to my Presidency term I served on the Board of Directors, and on the offices of Corresponding and Recording Secretary and Vice President. I have been an active member of NAWIC since joining in March of 2019. In 2021, I was named Future Leader of the Year for NAWIC Charlotte Chapter. In 2022, I was recognized as Top Recruiter, recruiting 26 new members in one year. For this, I was honored with the Founders Award at our NAWIC National Conference in Minneapolis, MN. In 2023, I was named Member of the Year for the South Atlantic Region and 2023 National Member of the Year. I look forward to further my tenure with NAWIC to serve on the Regional and National Level in the years to come. NAWIC has provided me with numerous opportunities for Professional Education and Development. I am surrounded by a TRIBE of women in the industry who have each other\'s back.
