About Ashley Kuchar

I help athletes, coaches, and high-performing professionals build resilience when things don’t go as planned. As a lifelong athlete, I grew up believing success required perfection, and that mistakes meant I wasn’t good enough. Every error felt personal. That mindset drove performance for a while… until it didn’t.Everything changed during college when I took a class that challenged how I related to failure. I learned that mistakes aren’t character flaws, they’re part of growth. Learning to respond with honesty, encouragement, and accountability (instead of harsh self-criticism) changed how I competed, led, and lived. That shift sent me to graduate school at, where I worked closely with, co-creator of the Mindful Self-Compassion program. During my PhD, I combined research, applied sport psychology, and personal experience to create (Resilience and Enhancement in Sport, Exercise, & Training). RESET is an evidence-based resilience program designed for athletes who want to perform at their best without sacrificing their mental health and well-being, teaching athletes and professionals how to: • Recover more effectively from mistakes and setbacks • Stay composed under pressure • Replace unhelpful self-talk with clarity and confidence • Perform with both toughness and careResearch on RESET shows improvements in coping, well-being, and performance (see failbettertraining.com/reset-research for peer reviewed studies).Today, my work spans. I help organizations build cultures where resilience is practiced not just talked about. I also teach a mindfulness and self-compassion at UT-Austin, where I’m passionate about bridging science and real-world application. If you want practical, evidence-based tools to improve your team\'s mindset, motivation, and performance, I’d love to connect. • Explore failbettertraining.com • Book a discovery call: https://calendly.com/ashley-kuchar/coaching-discovery-call a•••••@failbettertraining.comInstagram:@failbettertraining \'.Ashley
