About Ashley Kim

Portfolio: Plant mom by day, stress-baker by night, but most importantly, a UX designer and researcher who makes simple, intuitive, and enjoyable designs around the clock. With a BA in Psychology and a passion for human factors, I am dedicated to creating user-centered designs through research and creative problem-solving. I firmly believe research is paramount to any good, user-centered design and any good business. As a curious soul and eager problem-solver who loves to lean into challenges as opportunities to learn and grow, I always get excited when I recognize and pinpoint friction points through user research. I like to think of them as missing puzzle pieces that are waiting to be found and solved. And as an empath, I believe everything from UX work and collaboration with my colleagues to documentation and presentation of our work is a user experience in itself. With my strengths in research, critical analysis, and verbal and written communication, I am confident I can be a great asset to any design and research endeavor.
