About Ashley Karlen
My interest in politics is what originally drew me to a career in government relations, however, it’s my passion for public service that has kept me here. An experienced and pragmatic leader, I thrive in environments where I can be an advocate for causes that are important to me, while simultaneously giving back to those around me. Working for Congressman Johnson has allowed me to refine my skills in public speaking, relationship building, management, and problem solving. What I’ve enjoyed most, though, is serving the people of Ohio and identifying solutions to the everyday obstacles they face. When not working, I can be found hiking, kayaking, or indulging in a good book. I enjoy trying new recipes, exploring our National Parks, and expressing my creativity through crafting!
