ABOUT ASHLEY HAGLER

I am a self-motivated, flexible, caring, and hard-working leader with 20 years of experience in adult learning. During my time in this field, I have served as a subject matter expert, course and program developer in the field of adult science education, instructional designer, and a project manager. I have extensive experience with in-person and online course development, designing multi-tiered programs, and delivering training in a variety of formats including one-on-one mentoring, virtual instructor led training, asynchronous online training, in-person workshops, and conferences of varying sizes. Additionally, I have a proven track record of leadership and supervisory skills, project and budget management, and the development of courses and programs with high success rates. I value diversity, equity, and inclusion, am always eager to collaborate with others, and recognize the importance of a healthy teamwork environment. I am comfortable leading a team, and I am comfortable being led by others and value their insight. I pride myself on innovation and aim to incorporate modern technologies and techniques with the existing foundational principles and high impact best practices of adult learning theory in the design process of instruction and training. I have exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; and details matter to me as much as the overall “big picture”. I aim to use my experience and valuable skills to support organizations in developing effective and high-impact learning opportunities for their stakeholders. Strong professional with a Master of Science (MS) focused in Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte an a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
