As Lead Orthodontic Assistant, I support two high-volume practices that serve more than 80 patients each day. My role combines chairside care, digital workflow management, and team coordination to ensure efficient, comfortable treatment experiences for patients.Key responsibilities-Perform iTero scans multiple times daily, ensuring digital accuracy for patient treatment records and case submissions-Train and mentor new assistants on scanning techniques, workflow efficiency, and clinical protocols-Coordinate between clinical and administrative teams to maintain smooth communication and accurate documentation-Support orthodontists chairside during procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and prepared treatment area-Help streamline daily operations by improving morning setup and assisting with schedule flow.
