ABOUT ASHLEY GANN
I serve as Public Information Officer at Auburn University, my Alma Mater and my favorite place to call home. My career journey has been dedicated to service, communicating, and problem solving. Professionally, I have spent the last 2 decades as a broadcast meteorologist, covering some of the most historic severe weather events, not only in the southeast, but in the U.S. As a meteorologist, I have learned the importance of concise communication, empathy for our community and leading in times of high stress.Most recently, I\'ve pivoted from a life in front of the camera to one behind the camera, where I get the opportunity to serve the Auburn community as Public Information Officer. I also get the pleasure of teaching BUSI 4010-Leadership Development at Auburn\'s Harbert School of Business AND I\'m an instructor for Aviation Meteorology in the the Aviation Management program at Auburn. In addition to my life both on and off camera, I have loved exercising my entrepreneurship muscles alongside my husband. We have been blessed to open two wonderful businesses here in Alabama, 101 Mobility and Iron Tribe Fitness. Our goal is to improve lives in the communities we live.
