ABOUT ASHLEY FREEMAN

I am passionate about social services and policy. I have enjoyed continuing my education and diversifying my knowledge in several different modalities in Social Work. Social Work has always held been unique in my eyes because of the various places and ways we can assist people, communities and policies. I have worked in case management services, long term therapy, brief intervention therapy, Behavioral Integration in Primary Care clinics, crisis intervention, Adjunct at Boise State University as well as chronic disease management. My career goals are to be a strong Professor, Director or supervisor for other Social Workers and find it extremely important to have knowledge and experience in what the world is like for the many different disciplines Social Workers\' work in. I feel having a variety of experience will allow for strong and more efficient leadership, empathy, program management and program building of services needed for all patients\' in need of mental health, medical and care support. My primary modalities include motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am certified in Dr. Brene Brown’s Daring Way curriculum (CDWF).
