ABOUT ASHLEY FIX

Working for Aeropostale, I am able to combine my retail experience as a store leader with my ability to develop and grow my team members into better store leaders everyday. In my current role as District Manager, I coach and develop store managers, assistant managers, and sales leads into strong leaders that will drive sales through, excellent customer experience and visual excellence. So far for 2016, the district has drove a 4% sales comp increase, 1.2 point increase in conversion, and a 2.7% increase in sales per transaction. The key to our success is really taking pride and owning our business every single day and not just wanting to be average, but to be number one. Previously, I worked for Abercrombie and Fitch as a District Manager, Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and MIT. I was lucky to be apart of an organization who was dedicated to the training and development of their people. I learned that getting results isn\'t always about changing or just doing the processes but you have to focus on the leadership behaviors that drove you to get results. I\'m not only truly passionate about the work I do but about my family. I am a believer in having a healthy work life balance but also will step up and dedicate time and energy to make sure the job gets done right and I get the results I am driven to achieve. I make sure my managers understand this and to also find that balance in their lives. Recently, I was selected to be apart of the DM Development Group for Aeropostale. I\'m very excited to put what I learn, not only good use in my district, but to share the knowledge with my peers so that we can not only grow as individuals but as an organization.
