About Ashley Edwards
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology at Michigan State University through the Lyman Briggs College. I plan to continue my education in medical school following the completion of my undergraduate studies, with a developing interest in Cardiology, Endocrinology, and Obstetrics & Gynecology. I bring prior experience in medical education, having taught clinical courses including Phlebotomy and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) laboratory instruction. Through this role, I developed a strong foundation in communicating complex medical concepts, supporting hands-on skill development, and fostering a collaborative learning environment. I am highly interested in continuing to build upon my teaching experience as part of my future career in medicine. In addition, I am eager to further explore opportunities in scientific and clinical research to deepen my understanding of human health and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of medical knowledge.

I have worked for Cherry Creek for three years now. They offer such an amazing opportunity to begin and learn ground level customer service as well as quite a bit about the food and beverage industry. While working there they offer a variety of opportunities to improve and move up the ladder while working there. It is also a great opportunity to establish adequate leadership skills by training other employees and gaining more responsibilities throughout the course of working there. I\'d also like to acknowledge the amount of team work that goes into working their events. Without a cooperative group that is about to work independently and with one another an event would never run smoothly. While there are many different factors that play into my growth in leadership and team work, I can say that Cherry Creek has had a large part in improving these skills. Additionally Cherry Creek has also presented as a great opportunity to enhance my people skills. I spend the majority of my shifts working to help people either solve an issue or to overall make sure they are enjoying their experience.
