About Ashley Breeden Day
I am a passionate elementary educator, intent on continuing the transformation of education to better serve our students, communities, and educators. I have had the pleasure of collaborating with diverse peers, administrators, and communities over the course of my career including being the English half of a Dual-Immersion program this year.Current research suggests that students that are not at grade level for reading by third grade are less likely to achieve success in their future college and careers. I earned my Master\'s in Literacy Education to better understand the history, research, and continued progress of our literacy programs and strategies. I also have a passion for mathematics, seeking out mentors at the district level and beyond to assist me in leveraging our resources to analyze gaps, adapt instruction, and assess progress toward new goals. In addition to my skills and certifications as an educator, I also have previous experience in sales, marketing, events, and customer service. The culmination of these varied skills allows me to look at problems from multiple perspectives to develop innovative solutions to obstacles. If you think I would be a good fit for your team, please contact me.
