ABOUT ASHLEY TODD

The average length of time a girl spends in Girl Scouts is four years. For me, it was 11 years. And then, another three years. Why? I deeply resonated with the mission of the Girl Scout program, to build girls of courage, confidence, and character – that’s what I wanted to be! But the organization also gave me the ability to continuously find ways to give back. From volunteering at food banks and nursing homes to mentoring younger girls, I was striving to make a difference wherever I could. And when the time came to start my career, the Girl Scouts were calling my name again, jumpstarting over 11 years in the social impact space, where my motivations have been creating positive change in my community and driving results to exceed goals. I’ve accomplished record-breaking fundraising totals in my career while at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and United Way of Greater St. Louis. I have special pride in my current role, overseeing two distinct fundraising galas for hundreds of guests in Atlanta, benefiting the kids and families of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I’m known for my skills in process development and improvement, event execution, project management, and relationship cultivation. I have devised and delivered trainings, supervised teams, developed program scripting and run-of-show plans, and designed and implemented recruitment strategies. My skills and experience have culminated in best-ever fundraising totals for ALSAC/St. Jude in Atlanta, with 129% and 99% increases from previous records. When it comes to my passion, it can all be summed up in a simple Girl Scout principle: for our world, you should strive to “leave things better than you found them.”
