About Ashley Crowder

I currently serve as the Administrative Director for the Michael R. Boh Center for Child Development at Ochsner Health. In this role, I am responsible for leading the growth of child development services across the Gulf South region, developing new business strategies and services, and overseeing day-to-day operations at all program sites across the state of Louisiana, including New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Covington. Prior to this role, I served as the Manager Associate Administrator for Ochsner Health in Baton Rouge. I was responsible for the execution of strategic capital projects, including the planning and opening of new facilities; the development and improvement of clinical and non-clinical services; and the administration of hospital operations, including the opening of new inpatient units and the accompanying coordination of people, supplies, equipment, and furniture. Prior to that, I supported Ochsner Health’s mission, vision, and values as the Manager of Strategic Operations from 2018 to 2020. During my tenure in this role, I supported the regional executive team in the development and execution of strategic initiatives by leveraging project management, change management, and process improvement skills. I joined Ochsner as an Administrative Fellow in Operations in 2017. Throughout my fellowship, I worked on several high-profile projects, including the construction of Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove – Ochsner’s largest investment to date. Originally from Virginia, I received my Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University with a concentration in Finance and Data Analytics.
