Facilitation and Consulting: Conducting training, conference workshops, and overall implementation of NAPE’s suite of professional development programs and supporting institution-level change through technical assistance, consultation, and program improvement efforts.Fundraising and Program Development: Raising and managing grant funded programming aimed at supporting state level departments of education with their equity initiatives. Curriculum Building: creating and updating curriculum to meet the diverse needs of educators, government leaders, and employers on educational equity. Staff Management and Organizational Leadership: recruiting, hiring, and managing staff (including consultants, part and full-time staff) while providing thought leadership, operational support, skill building, and mentorship opportunities.Consultant Support: Supporting equity instructors by keeping them up to date on current issues in educational equity and NAPE’s programs while mentoring and coaching new instructors through the apprenticeship process.
