About Ashley Chubirka
As the Director of Freshman Admission at North Central College, I lead the recruitment and enrollment efforts for first year students in assigned territories. I have over sixteen years of experience in the admission field, and I hold a BA in English from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.My core competencies include public speaking, social networking, and event planning, which I use to communicate and engage with prospective students and their parents, provide information and guidance about the college and the application process, and organize and execute admission-related events. I also work closely with the Sr Director of Admission to make decisions regarding financial aid and admission acceptance, and to develop strategies to maximize the effectiveness of the recruitment process. I am passionate about helping students find their best fit college and achieve their academic and personal goals.
