EMERGE empowers high-achieving students from low-income communities to apply to, attend, and graduate from the nation\'s top colleges and universities. Founded in 2010, EMERGE serves more than students across three Houston-area school districts and 150 selective colleges and universities. Over 80% of our scholars graduate within six years of enrolling at a top-tier 4-year institution - nearly double the national rate for students from low-income backgrounds (48%).As EMERGE enters its next chapter of growth and innovation, I\'m leading the organization through a strategic transformation positioned to scale our proven model while adapting to meet the changing needs of students, districts, and the higher education landscape. Drawing on my complete career journey from classroom teacher to philanthropic leader, I\'m reimagining our service delivery model and pioneering innovative hybrid approaches that will allow us to serve exponentially more students without compromising program quality.
