   Skylite Cellars Winery produces small quantities of distinguished handcrafted wines for wine lovers, from wine lovers.Skylite Cellars is a boutique winery producing 1,200 cases of premium wines annually. Family owned and operated in the Walla Walla Valley of Washington State by Tom & Cheryl Hodgins, and daughter Ashley Bruton. Skylite Cellars grows and sources fruit from the heart of the great NW American vineyards. Under the direction of winemaker, Greg Matiko, Skylite Cellars ages rich bold Walla Walla fruit in oak for 22 to 28 months, then cellars each varietal for another 20-28 months. Skylite Cellars is currently producing small lots of wines that are meticulously crafted with attention to the natural expression of each varietal. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Malbec, Carménère, Bordeaux blends, Viognier & Sauvignon Blanc.Skylite Cellars … a natural revolution. “Chuck”, a native to the Walla Walla Valley, was born into a farming family in 1926. His world travels began in 1944 and for the next 60+ years he overfilled his home with marvels from around the globe. Now, in early his 80’s, still quite the adventurer, he has returned to farming and opened an art gallery! Century old skylites were discovered when renovating the historic Quinn building for the gallery. “Skylite Gallery” was opened in fall 2004. Chucks lovely new vineyard was christened “Skylite” during the first crush, fall 2005. We honor him now with our new adventure, “Skylite Cellars”. Skylite vines were planted in where we produce Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon. “Thank you Dad, Grandpa, for the vision, and passing on your love of sharing with others the fruit of adventure.”
