ABOUT ASHLEY BESIC

I’m a real estate professional with a strong foundation in sustainable development, public-private partnerships, and community revitalization. My experience spans both the private and nonprofit sectors, where I’ve led high-impact projects at the intersection of real estate, climate resilience, and social equity. Most recently, I managed national-scale initiatives to decarbonize the built environment through thermal energy networks—coordinating with utilities, government agencies, and developers to implement zero-emission infrastructure. I’ve also helped launch ESG programs within institutional real estate portfolios and guided urban planning efforts to align with local climate goals. Now, I’m returning to real estate development with a mission: to deliver housing and mixed-use projects that serve vulnerable populations, integrate sustainable design, and create long-term community value. I’m especially focused on working in disinvested areas where strategic investment, wraparound services, and workforce training can drive upward mobility. With a Master’s in Real Estate and a background in both policy and project execution, I bring a unique systems-based perspective to development—and a deep commitment to building better places for people and planet.
