I’m a Principal Economist in the Development Economics team at Stantec, where I lead the delivery of economic analysis, business cases, and evaluation work that helps shape and fund major projects across the UK. My expertise spans regeneration, infrastructure, transport, housing, education, and cultural sectors, with a focus on evidence-based strategies that support inclusive, sustainable growth.I specialise in developing HM Treasury Green Book-compliant five-case business cases, economic impact assessments, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and socio-economic chapters for Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs). My work supports clients in articulating the strategic and economic rationale for investment, aligning with policy objectives, and demonstrating value for money.Recent project highlights include leading the Solent Growth and Prosperity Strategy and the Southampton Growth and Prosperity Plan - two high-profile, place-based strategies that set out clear visions for long-term economic development.
