About Ashley Antonetty

I work as a member of a treatment team in NYS Office of Mental Health, Mid-Hudson Forensic Psychiatric Center servicing adult patients admitted by court order providing inpatient services including but not limited to evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. I have gained experience in responding to sexual violence reports in all Rikers Island facilities and borough detention centers assisting survivors of trauma with advocacy, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, support and guidance on how to navigate the criminal justice system. In addition, I worked as a Clinical Forensic Specialist for Safe Horizon’s Child Advocacy Centers as a member of a multidisciplinary team working along with NYPD’s Special Victims Squad, District Attorney’s office, and Administration of Children’s Services (ACS) on severe physical and sexual abuse cases. I participated in the forensic interview process assuming a lead interviewing role or an active observant role during the interview of the child and providing post forensic interview check-in counseling sessions with the child and family. Unswerving interest in social justice issues and assisting victim/survivor, re-entry, incarcerated, and all other disenfranchised populations.
